First off, I would think that switching may be good to me.
Why? I am using Digi currently, and they definately doesn’t value older customer compare to the newer ones. They offer better deal to the new user and older customer wouldn’t benefit from this deals. It is just pure fustration as I have tried calling them, going the the center. Nothing works, the worker just say “you will need to register a new number”.
When is the government going to implement this? I want this now. It is good for the economy cause provide will need to operate more effectively and not take advantage of the old customer because they know that we need to keep our number.
But there will be catch when they implement this cause in US most phone company tied customer down for at least a year or two but most phone are free when signup.
The result from the survey from SmartTrust is that 43% would jump. Meaning 43% are unsatisfied with their current provider, as they are being take advantage of because their number is tied.

I have been with Maxis since the year they launched their service. I have yet to receive any kind of offer from them. Not even a call to say thank you since 1995. Maxis is crap. I will jump away from Maxis once the portability is here…
