Pirated software cost the industry US $39.6 bilion last year. Guess who which country top the chart ?

Azerbaijan, what? Azerbaijan yes, Azerbaijan! Then comes Iceland, Oman. Last on the chart is Indonesia.

Just shock to see such a weird country topping the chart. Microsoft should definately go there for some hunting.

Wordpress WYSIWYG hidden fuction

I have been trying to find plugin for WYSIWYG and notice that TinyMCE is actually pre-installed in Wordpress 2, but I wanted to have more function and buttons.

And I came across an article teachin me how I could add WYSIWYG without uploading any plugins. It is actually embeded with your Wordpress 2.

All you have to to to activate this extra function is:-

• Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox : Click Alt + v when you are in your editor

NOTE: visual editor needs to be enabled.

You will be able to see the following function:

• Format
• Underline
• Font Colour
• Paste as plain text
• Paste from Word
• Remove Formating
• Cleanup Messy code
• Insert Custom Character
• Undo
• Redo

Filling up demographics by Advertlets

Noticed that I have joined Advertlets a while ago, and it seems that it comes with a demographic survey. If you visit this blog, kindly take your time to fill up the survey. This is how you can do it.

1. Find my Advertlets block. (Clue: it is on the most right sidebar)
2. Now click on the button as shown on the picture.
3. Fill up 4 questions. And you are done.

It is mainly demographics survey, in order to show advertisements which are more relevant. It is objective and within a minutes you should be able to finish it.

You should install Alexa Widget!

After 27 days of install Alexa Widget, I see that Wahlau Alexa ranking actually lowered by 100k which is good. I believe there is some paid program rate your blog actually by using a combination of your Technorati ranking, Alexa Ranking, Google Pagerank and maybe some more of others.

Alexa Ranking actually works by tracking people who installed Alexa Toolbar, which means that if most of your readers have Alexa Toolbar installed, you should get good ranking. By installing this widget, they will actually track everyone who visit your homepage, which is definitely more accurate. It is actually pretty easy, just copy the code, and past them onto your footer.

Wizz RSS News Reader for Firefox

Wizz RSS News reader is my first RSS News reader. I tend to go directly to the blog I love reader. As more and more blogs came upon, I find it hard to stay in tune with all blogs. Which is why I am trying this RSS News Reader. They have a Firefox Addon which makes it very simple to add another feed into your list. Also you could preview the blog posting before visiting the blog itself and this will actually save you a lot of time.

The interface is actually like this:-

and you could have some options and also SMTP (not yet tried this, but I believe it would email you the feeds update?)

To add a feed, first you will have to add a category. After that, all you have to do is to visit the blog that you read often, then drag the rss feed to the category that you have created.
