Hiding Wordpress plugin & themes

From my post previously, wordpress plugin thief, you notice that you are able to view the plugins for other wordpress blog and this could actually be avoided, all you have to do is to create a blank index.html or index.htm file [suggested by Iz].
For those who do not know how could you create a blank html, here is some idea:-
- Open a blank text file
- Copy the following code

<strong>Invalid Page</strong><a href=”http://www.wahlau.net”>Wahlau.NET</a>
</div>
</body></html>
- Replace wahlau.net to your home link
- File name “index.html” [including the quote]
- Save as type > All files
- Then save and upload them to your wp-content/plugins and wp-content/themes/
Malaysia Speeding Camera is on the way
If you are a fast driver and always taking the risk of getting a saman (ticket) from police and hoping that there will be no police hiding under the flyover to take you picture, you will be runing out of luck very soon.
I was just passing through Guthrie highway towards rawang on the 10th July, and the police have stopped the whole lane of the highway to test this expensive gadgets which they have plans to purchase.
For me myself, I have no problem with 110km/h speed limit. Only with Federal Highway, which I use at least twice every week, it is freaking 80km/h. Therefore, it would be making an average of 40km/h for left lane, 60km/h middle lane and 80km/h for right lane.
This is the most familiar of all, remember those days they have them on some cross junction to catch those who tries to beat the traffic light? They still have them, but it is no more functional.
Installed Wholinked
I have just installed one of this nifty cool idea that provides a link back to those who link to my website. It is actually a very good idea.
Wholinked is actually rewarding those who link to others, therefore it would be encouraging visitor to link to your website too. Although chance are low, there Problogger is one of them using this (p/s: I got it from there).
Installation using their java script is easy, only fill in some information. Then copy and paste the code onto your sidebar.
The only downside is that they are also taking nofollow link into account, also link which comes from blog post. The only way is to ban those site from your WhoLinked control panel.
Upgraded to Feedburner Pro
Feedburner Pro is now free, thanks to Google acquisition. This extra little functions could be activated with the following:-
- Go to login and go to my feeds
- Click on you website which wants to go Pro
- On the left panel, you will click on this “Dare to be different?”
- Choose the function you want to include and your are done.
This extra function will provide you with somemore statistics for your website. Currently, I am already using Statcounter and Google Analytics. No harm using one more since I have Feedburner plugin installed.
I will provide updates on the stats sometime in the future.
Problem solved
I was a little worried with the error encountered. I have tried to disable the plugins to detect the error but still unable to find any. A while later, I tried disabling firefox plugin and restart. Walla! it worked, everything is now fixed. It is actually SEO for Firefox add-ons.
