I have just bought a HP Laptop recently, it was reviewed in my other blog for some reason. But I would like to introduce this nice little feature that HP have included in their latest business model laptop. It is a laptop built in with EVDO.

What is EVDO?
I had no idea too when I first saw that but I remembered Sprint as one of the cell phone provider when I was studying in US. Therefore, it must be something like mobile internet like 3G or HSDPA. Some Googling shows that EVDO or Evolution Data Optimized is mainly marketed in US only. Here is a comprehensive forum discussion about EVDO and HSDPA.

Anyway, this is the start, built in EVDO/HSDPA card will bring a new form of computing, no more free wi-fi or starbucks for Internet when the Internet Service Provider will just follow you.
