To me I do not blame the scammers, they did not point any gun at anyone to believe them or pay them. It’s only the stupid greedy idiots fall prey. These days scammers have expanded so much that those you suspect as scammers may not even be the one scamming you. Malaysia locals are the scammers now.
Let’s utilise our time to talk about something more useful.

I got such a scam call sometime back as well, but it was from the infamous China scam group that operated in Hong Kong.

Seriously, I hope something would happen to these scammers to teach them a lesson.
