Blueserver is Closed?

Does this mark the end of Malaysian first PvPGN, Blueserver that made it so far?

I strongly belief that this is caused by Sendi Mutiara Multimedia because they are the official licensor for commercial Blizzard Games including Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo and more. There shall be a conflict of interest when people play at Blueserver due to pirated and original games.

There was a discussion about Blueserver is Closed at Lowyat forum but it seems to be closed by moderator there.

I am sure the founder Ming Keat Chin, or Megablue is disappointed because a lot of effort and time is put onto this server to make it successful. Especially the banning system to reduce the amount of leaver and people pulling plug.

As much as people complain and say bad things about Blueserver, it is the best out there because the registration had been closed for a long time. Therefore an account there is precious and not getting ban is crucial.


My friend has already suggested that we move to GG-Game or Garena (they are the same) but there is no moderation of players because there is too many games that they are hosting.

Feel free to discuss your opinion here and if you have the latest updates regarding blueserver, we will most definitely like to know.

      Ic…. I was not playing Dota for long time so the closure of Blue Server is not my concern. But I believe many expert out there is bored and waiting for another quality server online.

      expert will usually prefer the quality of cyber cafe because lag is close to none….blueserver is great for leisure play….

      i think people are waiting for new game like diablo III or starcraft II to be out soonest possible to dump dota…haha

      i have some news tat if megablue still havent put on any advertisement in his blog on 7th of august, tat means bs is no more hope. They are claming that Sendi Mutiara Multimedia Sdn Bhd is taking over the bs since they have the copyright of w3 in malaysia. The company is asking Rm9000 for monthly rent from megablue. so…duno whats megablue’s decision…i guest all the bs member’s are willing to donate right? anyway, i’lll respect megablue’s decision.       zelaws: wow…rm9000 rental…that is ridiculous…..can rent a dedicated server for less than RM500-RM1000 bucks each month….

      Dell Malaysia and Techron Sdn Bhd has agreed to sponsered the server and Blueserver will reopen on the 11th of october.
      A confirmation will be posted on the Blog on the 24th September once everything it is confirmed.

      So, at the mean time.. be patient and thank you for the support.

      its totally stupid la…. wtf the company doing trying to act like hero or somethign… msia pirated cds everywhere simply walk around can get already… that problem cannot solve then come mess wif blueserver=.=… i feel damn sad for blueserver, megablue (best effort in making blueserver the BEST server in msia)…. and all those players in blue that are probably cursing leavers now…

      I have tried gg-game…they hare very little game and a lot of leaver…not a good server for dota at all.

      May have to give asianbattle another chance.

      finnaly megablue have spoken on blueserevr blog.
      he promises blueserver will be relaunched. a little patient for now. BTW GGarena is still full of shit talking leavers. I haven’t tried the narraka or asianbattle. is it any good?….

      Old blueserver players have created Malaysia Dota, mydota.org to replace blueserver.

      Mydota.org is not an official server bt it is just a copy server.
      Blueserver’s team is currently discussing the sponsorship now.
      i guess it will run in weeks time.
