I notice that Google have just did a face lift with an extra sidebar on the leftside. Currently, the left sidebar have searches on other Google services (images, video, News, Maps, Blogs, Books, Products, Groups and Patents).

I think they should be adding more stuff on the left panel. Wonder what will they add more?

Virgin Galactic is now offering service to fly people to the space. As they are in the transportation business, Virgin Atlantic it is no doubt that they would venture in to Space travellers (hmm…). It comes with a price tag of USD200,000.

Anyhow, too bad there is no travel promotion like free flights from AirAsia.

It is quite interesting if you read their FAQ. Quote from them, you will actually officially become an Astronaut. As the term astronaut define as:-

The term Astronaut is a derived from Greek words ástron (”star”) and nautes (”sailor”). The criteria for determining who has achieved human spaceflight vary. In the United States, people who travel above an altitude of 50 miles (80 km) are designated as astronauts. The FAI defines spaceflight as over 100 km (62 miles).Virgin Galactic passengers will receive their Virgin Galactic astronaut wings and may receive FAA astronaut wings as well.

I think Google is currently going through a PR update. Hopefully I will do better than previously. Currently it shows PR3, let us see what it will become. Cross my fingers.

Although I know Google Pagerank is only one elements of judging ranking in Google, but it is the only way to measure your website, therefore it is highly rated and based upon when a layman (or you and me) judge a blog/website to be search engine friendly or not.

After 4 and a half months of the launching of Pixelotto, they have only increase the prize fund to USD151,700. It seems that it would not be as succesful as the Million Dollar Homepage that Alex Tew have started. Anyhoe, USD151,700 is sufficient to run this new Pixelotto website as the advertisements is suppose to be there for only a year. You can see the print screen here.

Compare to the previous Pixelotto Post print screen I had on Dec 12th, it seems that there is also some changes in ads. Weird that they are able to change their advertisements banner.

 Have you heard of Firefly, a whole own subsidary of Malaysia Airline. I bet most of you all know by now with all major newspaper writing about it. Recently, I was trying to check rates for some local flight and Firefly come across my mind. I started searching for Firefly on Google and tried http://www.firefly.com.my. And guess what I have found? “Penjimat Minyak dan Penambahkuasa Enjin”. 

Next step in finding Firefly Website is via http://www.malaysiaairlines.com, but there is not link to Firefly. Luckily, I found the Firefly website through Wikipedia (Firefly airline).

So, this is a charity post to promote our 3rd Malaysia low cost carrier. http://www.fireflyz.com.my. Remember the ‘z’.

I don’t understand why they register fireflyz.com.my. Even if they do not want to invest. They could register domain like fireflyairline.com.my. Plus Fireflyairline.com, fireflyairlines, myfirefly.com.my, airfirefly.com is all recently registered in March and April of 2007.

But I do hope for the success of Malaysian Airline.
