Previously you could only download youtube video your PC in the format of .flv and there is a need to download flv player to run those file. Now with Flvix, you can convert directly from YouTube to Avi, Mov, MP4, 3GP and MP3 format.

How to use

1. Copy the link of the page with the video on it and paste it in the textbox bellow.
2. Choose desired format : AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP, MP3.
3. Click Convert button.
4. Download the converted file.

If you have your old flv files on your computer and wish to convert them to 3GP, Avi and MP4 format. Use All2Convert.

I have just installed one of this nifty cool idea that provides a link back to those who link to my website. It is actually a very good idea.

Wholinked is actually rewarding those who link to others, therefore it would be encouraging visitor to link to your website too. Although chance are low, there Problogger is one of them using this (p/s: I got it from there).

Installation using their java script is easy, only fill in some information. Then copy and paste the code onto your sidebar.

The only downside is that they are also taking nofollow link into account, also link which comes from blog post. The only way is to ban those site from your WhoLinked control panel.

Feedburner Pro is now free, thanks to Google acquisition. This extra little functions could be activated with the following:-

1. Go to login and go to my feeds
2. Click on you website which wants to go Pro
3. On the left panel, you will click on this “Dare to be different?”



4. Choose the function you want to include and your are done.

This extra function will provide you with somemore statistics for your website. Currently, I am already using Statcounter and Google Analytics. No harm using one more since I have Feedburner plugin installed.

For those who would like to start blogging and do not want to come out with money for a domain and hosting could try some of the free wordpress blog out there. They are actually using Wordpress MU. Some of it out there also allow you to have your own adsense, whereby you are able to earn some money without spending any money.

Blogging is not easy and blogging for money is even harder. Therefore you will have to take not of this. If you give up at the middle, everything you have blog for is gone.

Of course, if money is not an issue, Wordpress.Com is definately your first choice. This is because you would be almost certain that they would not close down the server the next day.

Blogspot is a good alternative but due to the lack of controls and functions, eventually people will switch to some other platform such as wordpress.
